Martin MAC Viper XIP Profile

The Martin MAC Viper XIP next-generation, Viper-class moving head combines legendary Viper performance, Martin XIP smart weatherproofing technology, and the most robust feature set Martin has ever developed. Drawing on best-in-class features that defined the iconic Viper lineup, including Viper Profile, Performance, Wash and Wash DX, MAC Viper XIP builds on its heritage, setting a new standard for all-in-one performance, innovation and reliability. The combination of MAC Viper XIP’s powerful lumen output and innovative patent-pending XIP water and dust ingress protection make it not only ideal for a wide range of temporary, year-round outdoor applications*, but also ensures exceptionally low-noise levels for indoor use, similar to the whisper-silent Martin MAC Encore. Featuring Martin Professional’s proprietary tailor-made light engine, the MAC Viper XIP unleashes an impressive 5° narrow, high-definition, and high-contrast beam, ensuring unprecedented lumen maintenance over the zoom range. MAC Viper XIP’s 28,000 lumens outperforms much larger products on the market due to its consistent, unwavering output. Its superior 5800 Kelvin color temperature ensures optimal illumination for artists and scenery, with the white point precisely on the black body curve without any green or magenta shift to ensure a crisp white point that naturally enhances illuminated objects. High-performance engineering catapults Martin’s latest moving head to the top of its class with precision motor control to deliver unmatched pan & tilt speeds and nimble response times - key for followspot systems and optimal performance. MAC Viper XIP’s color mixing, zoom speeds, and ratio between high-quality output, low-noise operation, and low-weight and size make it a truly versatile workhorse. It also features high-resolution, low-level dimming, and incorporates light recycling with gobos, enabling 25% additional output when inserting gobos for increased performance and efficiency. The MAC Viper XIP is not only advancing moving head technology, its propelling fixture innovation. Adding to its feature-rich offering, MAC Viper XIP leverages innovative onboard NFC technology to empower quick and streamlined setup via the forthcoming, dedicated Martin app. It also ensures simplified connectivity among the most popular control protocols, including DMX, Wireless DMX via plug in module, Art-Net, sACN and Martin P3 Control (with fail-safe bypass). The newly designed optical system elevates the customer experience to another level with a high-resolution projection system that offers unmatched gobo projection sharpness. Uniquely high-contrast levels paired with brilliant and crisp lens designs ensure incomparable razor-sharp mid-air effects. With its uncompromising package of high-output optical performance, XIP smart weatherproofing technology, premium feature-set, low-noise, smaller footprint, and ease of serviceability; MAC Viper XIP dominates the mid- to large-moving head category. From concert stages to TV studios and EDM festivals to opera houses, the world’s top designers, specifiers, and rental companies can invest in the confidence and return on investment that only the MAC Viper lineup can deliver. And this Viper delivers indoors or out, all year long, in any kind of weather. MAC Viper XIP – the LEGEND strikes again.
